In\u00a0fact, a recent\u00a0Procom <a href=\"\/en-us\/return-to-work-report?hsCtaTracking=876b6743-23dc-425b-b245-80dba677a9c7%7C5e4a4ef0-aceb-4a45-92c0-3ad46362ee90\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Voice of Talent Report<\/a>\u00a0of over 1000 knowledge workers across North America\u00a0finds\u00a052\u00a0per cent\u00a0of\u00a0respondents\u00a0are \u201clikely\u201d\u00a0to\u00a0\u201cvery likely\u201d be looking to leave their current position within the next 12 months.\u00a0\u00a0<br \/><br \/>For employers, this means they <a href=\"\/hiring-tips\/understanding-how-your-return-to-work-strategy-affects-talent-acquisition\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">must act now<\/a>\u00a0in order to\u00a0rescue\u00a0their workers from joining\u00a0what\u2019s\u00a0been dubbed,\u00a0The Great Resignation.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p><!--more--><\/p><h1 style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>What caused The Great Resignation?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h1><p>The pandemic has caused workers to re-evaluate what matters most to them when it comes to\u00a0achieving a\u00a0better\u00a0work and life balance. Data shows\u00a0top motivating factors for why talent would leave include:\u00a0workers are overwhelmed and burnt out in their current role, are experiencing a lack of career growth at their current organization and would leave for a higher salary or pay rate.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><h3 style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong>Strategies to increase retention<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h3><p>Even amid an uncertain time, talent is optimistic about their future, and they have choices.
