Policy on Preventing Fraudulent Job Postings
Version 1.0 / February 11, 2026
Procom is helping to protect job seekers from fraudulent job postings
To maintain a safe and trustworthy recruitment environment, all postings published by Procom whether for Procom roles or on behalf of our clients are subject to strict validation, verification, and compliance requirements. This summary outlines how Procom prevents fraudulent postings and what candidates can expect when applying to roles posted by Procom.
Our Approach to Legitimate Job Postings
All job postings published by Procom, whether for internal roles or on behalf of our clients, are managed through established recruitment processes designed to reduce the risk of fraudulent postings.
As part of these processes, Procom:
- Verifies the legitimacy of the hiring organization.
- Validates job details, including duties, compensation, location, and required skills.
- Monitors for fraud indicators such as unverifiable contacts, inconsistencies, or unusual urgency.
These safeguards apply to all postings created by Procom for itself and for clients.
Transparency in Job Postings
To ensure job postings are not fraudulent and align with evolving legal and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions, Procom includes required compensation information, experience requirements, disclosures (AI screening, vacancy type, etc.) and anything else required in accordance with applicable law.1
Reporting a Suspicious or Fraudulent Posting
Anyone, including candidates, employees, clients, job board operators, or members of the public, can report a suspected fraudulent job posting.
You can report concerns by:
- Contacting Procom at [email protected]
- Reporting the posting directly through the job board where it appears
Procom reviews all reports, investigates promptly, and removes any fraudulent or unauthorized postings.
Corrective Action
If a job posting is found to be fraudulent or noncompliant, Procom may take corrective action to protect candidates and maintain the integrity of our recruitment processes. These steps may include removing or correcting job postings, coordinating with clients or third-party platforms, or escalating matters where required. Affected candidates may be notified where appropriate. Additional verification requirements, updates to posting practices, or other preventative measures may also be implemented to reduce future risk.
Protect Yourself
Legitimate Procom recruitment communications do not request:
- Payment or fees
- Banking or financial information
- Sensitive personal documents during the early stages of recruitment
If you encounter these types of requests, please report them immediately.
Our Commitment to Candidate Safety
Procom is dedicated to maintaining a secure recruitment environment and will take corrective action if fraudulent activity is detected.
Changes to our Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time and encourage you to review this Policy regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes.
