Java developer talent includes engineers who build, maintain, and optimize applications using Java and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, Jakarta EE). You need them for new product builds, legacy system upgrades, microservices re-architecture, or ongoing application support.

We place Backend and Frontend Java Developers, Full-Stack Java Engineers, Solution Architects, DevOps-savvy Java Leads, QA Automation Engineers (Selenium/JUnit), and Technical Team Leads—matched to your stack, domain, and project goals.

Must-have skills often include Java 21, Spring Boot, REST APIs, ORM (JPA/Hibernate), unit testing, OpenShift, Web Security – OAUTH, SAML, SSO, Database – SQL/ORACLE/NOSQL/MONGO DB and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes). Bonus: Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices design, and CI/CD pipelines.

Each candidate passes résumé screening, a hands-on coding assessment (or pair-programming session), architecture/thinking interview, and reference checks. We also evaluate communication skills to ensure team fit.

  • United States: Mid-level Java Developers average US $55–$80/hr or US $110K–$145K per year.
  • Canada: Mid-level Java Developers average CA $50–$70/hr or CA $100K–$125K per year.

Rates vary by location, seniority, and cloud/microservices experience. Ask us for current benchmarks.

We typically present qualified candidates within 2–3 business days for common skill sets. Highly specialized needs (e.g., Java + Kafka + Kubernetes) may take 1–2 weeks while we find an exact match.

Yes. We regularly place remote, hybrid, and on-site Java professionals, handling cross-border contracts, payroll, and compliance for both countries.

In the U.S. we follow IRS/DOL (1099 vs. W-2) rules. In Canada we abide by CRA/provincial guidelines to avoid misclassification. Procom manages the paperwork, contracts, multi-currency payments, 1099-NEC, or T4A, so you stay risk-free.

Absolutely. You can augment your staff with a single developer or engage a full pod—solution architect, developers, QA, DevOps—to deliver end-to-end features or entire green-field builds.

Book a quick discovery call. We’ll map your tech stack, project timeline, and engagement preferences, then deliver a shortlist of vetted Java professionals and manage onboarding from start to finish.
